Discordels is a beta product. Please read these terms before connecting a wallet or sending any transaction.
These terms govern your use of the Discordels website and interface (the “Service”). By connecting a wallet or otherwise using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you must not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by law or where you are subject to applicable sanctions.
Discordels is in beta. Features may change, break, be limited or be removed without notice. Smart contracts, indexers and interfaces may contain bugs. Do not rely on the Service for anything you cannot afford to lose.
Testnet features use tokens with no monetary value. Dollar amounts shown on testnet are illustrative only.
Discordels is an interface to public blockchains and smart contracts. We never hold your private keys, wallet funds or NFTs. You are solely responsible for your wallet, your keys, any device session key stored in your browser, and every transaction you sign.
Blockchain transactions are final. We cannot reverse, cancel or refund a transaction once it is broadcast.
Using the Service can involve network gas fees paid to the network, platform fees, and, in chat, an optional message contribution paid to the Discordels treasury. These amounts are shown before you sign wherever the Service can calculate them; your wallet’s confirmation is authoritative. Gas prices change and estimates may be wrong.
A larger message contribution does not make a transaction confirm faster.
Chat messages are posted to a public blockchain. They are permanent, publicly visible and cannot be edited or deleted by you or by us. Do not post personal, confidential or sensitive information.
You are responsible for what you post. Do not post unlawful, infringing, harassing, deceptive or malicious content, or links designed to steal funds. We may hide content or restrict access in the interface, but we cannot remove it from the blockchain.
Collections, metadata, listings and prices may come from third-party contracts, indexers, marketplaces and price feeds. We do not verify or endorse them and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability or authenticity. NFTs and digital assets are volatile and may lose all value.
Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at abusive rates, reverse engineer for malicious purposes, or exploit the Service or its contracts. Do not use the Service for fraud, wash trading intended to deceive, money laundering or any unlawful purpose.
Any points, referral credits or similar rewards are promotional, have no cash value, are not property or a financial instrument, and may be changed, reset or discontinued at any time.
Joining the ambassador program and submitting a post for review each require a small on-chain payment to the Discordels treasury. These payments cover review costs, are final and are not refunded, including when a submission is rejected. Approval and the number of points awarded are at Discordels’ sole discretion.
The Discordels name, logo, design and interface code are owned by Discordels or its licensors. You keep whatever rights you have in content you post; by posting publicly on-chain you accept that anyone can read and copy it.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Discordels and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of funds, assets, profits or data arising from your use of the Service, smart contract failures, wallet compromise, network congestion or third-party services.
We may update these terms as the beta and the mainnet launch evolve. The date above shows the latest version; continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions can be raised through the project’s official channels.
